Meet The Teachers: Dr. NIMMI MARIA OOMMEN, TIRUVALLA, KERALA
Dr. Nimmi is a Teacher educator with twenty-four years of experience in teaching, research, writing, and publishing. She is an active Resource Person in Educator Empowerment Programmes (EEPs) under the auspices of various reputed Institutes and organizations. This proactive participation in the empowerment of Educators led her to elucidate the real meaning of ‘Universal Educator’ which she achieved through her Doctoral Research. Her enthusiasm for academic development was appreciated by various Academic Bodies like the International Institute of Engineers and Researchers (IIER), International Society for Engineering Research and Development (ISERD), Council for Teacher Education Foundation (CTEF) Kerala, Council for Educational Administration and Management (CEAM), India etc that included her as an important Member/ Official in Policy Formulations. Her contribution to Academic Research and Development was awarded by Rajiv Gandhi National Vidya Ratnam Award 2022, Dr. Sarveppalli Radhakrishnan Best Teacher Award 2021- Redpond Educational and Psychological Research Centre, SAS Best Academician Awards- 2020, Green Thinker Z Award 2020, Dr. N.P. Her academic laurels are also enriched by the certificate courses pursued at Harvard University.
